This set is supposed to contain 8 volumes. My set is missing one volume and therefore is incomplete. Because it is incomplete and based on its condition, it has been priced accordingly. 1894 eds 7 volume set consisting of volumes 1 thru 7, Partially leather bound. HC's have some wear including light stains on most of the fc's lower edge/bumped corners & edge wear, Gold gilding on covers/spines and pg edges, pgs/binding tight, light stains on edges of a few pgs of each volume, beautiful illustrations, pgs clean of writing, Vol 4 has a little rippling of pgs top edges
